As we continue our walk of social justice titles, we explore the new book:
Native: Identity, Belonging, and Rediscovering God. In her book, author and poet, Kaitlin Curtice, vulnerably shares her struggles to hold onto her indigenous heritage in a world that does not value her Potawatomi foundations and to rediscover her faith which was born in the Americanized Christian faith but yearns for its native roots. Curtice bravely shares stories of her experience uncovering her discomfort, in finding herself, her sadness in finding her place in the world, and a myriad of other important insights that have the potential to teach us all no matter what our heritage.

Come join us as we discuss our new book of the month!

Come with an open heart and a willingness to listen to one another. It is helpful to have read the book, but if you haven't, or if you haven't finished, come anyway! The conversation is more important than being knowledgeable about the text.
